Software for writers - Testing impact on search engines

This post is a test regarding the impact of using keywords in a blog.

We (Slam Industries LLC; http://www.slamindustriesllc.com/) are working on developing an online software program for writers and comedians to use to organize comedy and writing material. The program is called Woubie and will be available at the end of October.

There are a ton of programs out there to help you format a manuscript, whether it's for a novel, an article or just shits and giggles. But there really isn't much in the way of software that comedians and writers can use to store data, organize writing material and categorize the material so that they can readily find that one piece of information they need.

There is software for writers that helps you get over writer's block. There's software for writers that helps you list chapters and organize the flow of the story. But if you're looking for something that helps you truly organize your writing material, from detailed character descriptions to submission and publication information, you'll be hard pressed to find anything at all.

Woubie (http://www.woubie.com/) is a web-based software program for writers, including comedians, that allows the user to store detailed information related to characters, locations, facts, quotes, bibliography, submission to competitions, submission for publication, tracking where it was actually published (very useful for people who write articles and have them published in different places), etc.

The data is structured in individual data fields so that it can be searched, filtered, categorized and subcategorized. But the real key to Woubie is the ability to easily link those pieces of data together.

We've put a lot of research, time and work into the Woubie program and we're getting close to having it ready to go to market. So now we've begun really focusing on how to get the word out that we have a great new software program for writers. One of the things we've read a lot about is that blogging can have a significant impact on getting the word out via the Internet. Even more so, in some cases, than having the appropriate key words, tags and other SEO related content on the web pages. Apparently it can be due to the freshness of a blog article, the newer the better.

So anyway, the point of this particular article is that I've included our key words, like writing software, software for writers, organize writing material, several times so that I can see if it really has any impact when I do a search for those specific words.
